During this time of social distancing, Seed Animation set up a prompt called "Tales from Lockdown". The brief was simple, make a short animation about what people are up to during quarantine. It all started with a reference photo taken by my good friend Adam. From there I sketched the composition out in Photoshop. The hand (minus the thumb) was shaded and colored in Photoshop, the phone and fake UI was created in Illustrator. Animation was made in After Effects using Limber for the thumb and everything else with standard effects in AE. This was by far one of my favorite projects because I got to make something completely for myself.
